Putting My Experience
to Work
My career in federal policy began in 2020 at the height of the pandemic, when I served as a AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow working in the office of Senator Elizabeth Warren. For the last two years, I served as a biologist at the U.S. Government Accountability Office, where I helped educate Congress on science and tech issues and ensured taxpayer dollars are spent effectively.

I'm no Billy on the Street, but I do enjoy asking strangers I meet if they know who their Congressional Representative is. Most do not. Given that the Texas Legislature redraws our map every 10 years based on U.S. Census data, many folks are unaware that their district may have changed since 2020.
